The “She Shines Women’s Leadership Breakfast” is an annual event dedicated to celebrating and empowering women across various industries. This year’s theme, ” Illuminate: Women Walking into Their Leadership Light” reflects our commitment to showcasing the achievements and contributions of women leaders. The event provides a platform for networking, collaboration, and sharing experiences, while also offering a supportive environment for attendees to have their questions answered by top leaders.

With a lineup of incredible speakers and panelists, we believe your insights and experiences would greatly enrich the event. Your presence would inspire attendees and contribute to the success of the event’s mission.

The event will also feature ample networking opportunities, allowing attendees to connect with other professionals in our community who are passionate about women’s leadership and empowerment. Additionally, the breakfast will culminate with the “Women & Girls SHE SHINES Honor Awards,” a moment to recognize outstanding contributions to women’s advancement.

It’s important to note that all proceeds from the event will benefit “Figure Skating in Detroit,” an organization dedicated to empowering young girls 6-18 through education and sports. The breakfast is Figure Skating in Detroit’s first benefit event of the year aiming to raise $25,000 to go toward academic programming, field trips, tracksuits, performance costumes, equipment and ice time. The She Shines Women’s Leadership Breakfast venue is proudly sponsored by Wayne County Community College District NW Campus.

FSD is the first and only chapter outside of New York City’s Figure Skating in Harlem, is now in its 6th year and serves a combined 200 girls through its after school, summer camp and workshop programming. FSD has also garnered national attention. Kameryn Everett, a FSD skating instructor, was profiled in National Geographic’s short-form documentary series, “IMPACT with Gal Gadot.”
