NINA HERRON-ROBINSON

Skating Director

Nina Herron-Robinson is a competitive figure skating coach with over 20 years of experience in conjunction with the United States Figure Skating Association (USFSA). She’s an accredited member of the Professional Skaters Association (PSA) with a category A certification. Nina is also First Aid, CPR, and AEG trained and certified. She specializes in Freestyle, Choreography, and Moves in the Field. She enjoys progressing skaters from beginner to senior and grooming competitive skaters of all levels. She coaches and mentors skaters who compete at local, national, and international competitions. Nina also currently serves as the Skating Director of Figure Skating in Detroit.

Figure Skating in Detroit will serve more than 300 girls, ages 6-15, by providing figure skating instruction, academic support, STEM classes, leadership training, career development and financial literacy.
