IMPACT featuring Figure Skating in Detroit by National Geographic with Gal Gadot

Figure Skating in Detroit is honored to be featured in the 6- part docuseries “IMPACT” by National Geographic with Gal Gadot. “IMPACT” features women and girl-focused organizations across the globe making an impact showcasing incredible stories of change and resilience.


These are the real women of wonder.
IMPACT WILL PREMIERE ON NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC ON APRIL 26 ACROSS ALL NAT GEO DIGITAL AND SOCIAL PLATFORMS.
The documentary shorts will first release digitally and then culminate in a full-length documentary special to premiere on the National Geographic channel globally in 172 countries and 43 languages in June 2021.
Every year, FSD serves a combined 200 girls through our after-school, summer camp and workshop programming.
An interview with Gal talking about our organization and how we are making an IMPACT with our girls. Featured is one of our skating coaches, Kameryn, who leads our figure skating coaching. The beauty, power and grace on and off the ice has been a powerful force of change for young girls in Detroit!
