Figure Skating in Detroit seeks individuals interested in working directly with youth as tutors and skating instructors. In addition, we are always looking for volunteers interested in hosting workshops in careers, financial literacy, fitness & nutrition, study skills and in providing other opportunities for our students on and off the ice.

Figure Skating in Detroit transforms young lives and helps girls grow in confidence, leadership and academic achievement. We are the only organization for girls of color that combines the power of education with access to the artistic discipline of figure skating to build champions in life.
